A luminous Victorian 18ct Gold Opal and Diamond cluster ring, radiating romance and old-world elegance. At its heart sits a domed natural Solid Opal cabochon alive with blue, green and pink-orange play-of-colour, framed by a bright halo of near-colourless Diamonds for a classic floral silhouette. The elevated basket, pierced foliate gallery and graceful split scroll shoulders lend beautiful detail from every angle.

Wonderfully proportioned, the Opal weighs approximately 0.65ct, while the surrounding Diamonds total approximately 0.80ct, bringing fire and sparkle to the glowing centre. Rich 18ct Gold enhances the opalescent hues, making this an exquisite Victorian jewel to treasure and enjoy.

MEASUREMENTS: Ring face is 12.5mm long x 11.5mm wide.
Opal measures 7mm long x 6mm wide, weighing approx. 0.65ct.
Diamonds measure approximately 2.9mm long x 2.8mm wide, weighing approx. 0.80ct combined.
Shank tapers from 3.5mm wide at the shoulders to 1.5mm wide at the back.
WEIGHT: 3.8g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Natural Solid Opal (0.65ct), Diamond (0.80ct).

STAMPS: Obscured '18' and obscured maker's mark.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
