Utterly captivating and exceptionally rare, these Georgian Iberian chandelier earrings marry vivid Emerald greens with the shimmer of Diamonds in a sumptuous, articulated girandole design. The long, elegant drops centre on rich pear-shaped Emeralds framed by ornate openwork, with further green and white accents for a lavish halo of light. Crafted in Silver with beautifully aged patina and fitted with 18ct Gold hooks, they sway gracefully with every movement, exuding old-world drama and refinement.

From their foliate motifs to their hand-finished collet-style settings, the craftsmanship is enchanting and undeniably 18th century in character. Item Details

ERA: Georgian (1714–1837).

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 45mm long including hooks.
Earrings are 15mm wide.
Round Diamonds are 2mm in diameter.
Round Emerald is 3.5mm in diameter.
Teardrop Emerald measures 11.5mm long x 8mm wide x 4.5mm deep.
WEIGHT: 10g (pair).

MATERIALS: Tests as Silver, 18ct Gold hooks, Emeralds, Diamonds.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: Antique condition with age-consistent surface wear and a pleasing patina to the Silver. Some small accent stones are missing and a few show light clouding or tiny chips under magnification; the principal Emeralds are all present and in very good condition with minor natural inclusions and faint abrasions commensurate with age. Settings and articulation are sound, and the 18ct Gold hooks are in good working order.
