An exceptional example of early 19th-century craftsmanship, this Georgian ‘Croix de Saint Lo’ pendant is set throughout with sparkling hand-cut Paste stones in Sterling Silver. These crosses originated in Normandy, France, and were cherished devotional jewels symbolising faith and protection.
The Paste gems, known as “black dot” Paste, were meticulously hand-painted to imitate the culets of fine Diamonds, giving the piece a magnificent brilliance. The central stone and surrounding drops create an impressive, radiant display, equivalent in presence to around 7.50cts of Diamonds.

ERA: Georgian, c.1800–1830.
MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 48mm long x 38mm wide.
Central Paste is 8mm in diameter.
Three round Paste stones are 6.5mm in diameter.
Pear-shaped Paste is 10mm long x 8.5mm wide.
WEIGHT: 8g.
MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver, Georgian “Black Dot” Paste
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT: The Paste stones are bright and crisp with no chips or replacements, retaining their original black-dot detailing. One smaller stone shows gentle ageing with a deeper tint, and the Silver has developed an attractive antique patina. Beautifully preserved for a genuine Georgian jewel.

Layaway Installment Plans
A layaway is an interest-free payment plan that enables you to reserve an item with an initial deposit, and then pay the balance over 60 days.
Layaway is very popular with Lillicoco customers, particularly when making a more considered purchase.
How It Works
In total, you will make three payments over three months:
Day 1: 33.33%
Day 30: 33.33%
Day 60: 33.33%
Your layaway purchase is reserved for you as soon as the initial payment has been taken.
Your order is shipped once the full balance has been paid.
All of our usual terms and conditions apply with a layaway purchase, although 15% of the invoice total is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or return, acting as an administration fee.
A layaway is not a loan, nor is it a form of credit. A credit check is not required to put an item on layaway, and missing a payment will not affect your credit score.
If you do not complete your layaway on schedule your reservation may be cancelled and your payments may be refunded, minus the administration fee.
