A spectacular Victorian 18ct Gold rose-cut Diamond ring, combining an elongated navette silhouette with a wonderfully celestial starburst design. Bold yet beautifully refined, this is a fabulous example of Victorian statement jewellery.

The expansive polished Gold face is centred by a sparkling rose-cut Diamond, encircled by eight further Diamonds arranged within an eight-pointed star. The contrast between the richly coloured 18ct Gold and bright antique Diamonds gives the design wonderful presence, while the split shoulders create an elegant transition into the slender band.

Central Diamond measures approx. 3.5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.17ct.
8 x Diamonds measure approx. 2mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.24ct combined.
Total Diamond weight is approx. 0.41ct.
Band measures 2mm wide at the back.
WEIGHT: 6.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Diamond (0.41ct).

STAMPS: 18CT inside the band.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT: This Victorian ring is in wonderful antique condition, with the Diamonds securely held within their settings and beautifully presented. The substantial Gold face, split shoulders and band remain in excellent order, with only minimal signs of wear commensurate with age.
