Five Old Mine-Cut Diamonds form a gently graduated line across this Edwardian ring, with the largest stone at the centre and smaller companions tapering towards the shoulders. Their broad facets and individually rounded outlines give the row a lively, varied sparkle, while the pale Platinum claws trace a scalloped outline around each stone. Warm 18ct Gold appears beneath the setting and continues into the plain band.

Turn the ring to the side and its open gallery becomes a defining part of the design: slender uprights rise around each Diamond, leaving the separate stone settings clearly visible. The raised row has a softly arched profile, balanced by narrow, unadorned shoulders. It is a pleasing contrast between the intricate claw work above and the simple sweep of Gold below.

Two intermediate Diamonds approx. measure 3.5mm long x 3.5mm wide.
Two outer Diamonds measure approx. 3.5mm long x 2.5mm wide.
Total Diamond weight is approx. 1.00ct.
1.5mm band
WEIGHT: 3.2g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Platinum settings, Diamond (1.00ct).

STAMPS: 18CT, PLAT, Maker's Mark B&K.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The five Diamonds retain distinct facet outlines, and the individual claws remain clearly defined. Darkened traces sit in the recesses of the Platinum mounts. Fine surface scratches are visible on the plain Gold shank.
